Intricate Design is a residential building, development and real estate company located in Grand Rapids, MI.

We believe in the old cliches, the coined terms, “quality over quantity”, “like an apple of gold in a field of silver”, we want your house to stand out, and finding the right builder with attention to detail can be like finding “a needle in a haystack”. With big box builders taking over more and more of the residential building demand, we want to bridge the gap between our clients and the custom home they’re dreaming of, regardless of how extravagant or simple it may be.

Every spec and every custom home is accompanied by a unique set of finishing touches - leaving our signature on every piece we build. This could come in forms of a custom staircase, a water feature, a luxurious master bathroom setup, a hand crafted entryway door, or maybe the old “hidden room”, behind a bookshelf. We want to bring art back into the building world and “cookie cutter” is not our style.

Our vision statement is simple, yet effective. Though the dream and end goal is big, maybe too big to share on a webpage, it can be summarized - “Bringing value into the lives of others” and we do that for our clients, contractors and everybody involved in the process - Just as they do for us...
